Ok, Yes I agree it’s a bit silly to have a recipe that uses peas when the same website advises against eating them – but seriously, a bit of common sense yeah? Dice up some zucchini, or carrot. Use green beans or cauliflower or broccoli or bell peppers or eggplant or kale or mushrooms or pumpkin or just about any other vegetable you have.
Hello Scott –
We don’t advise against peas. Peas are an excellent and healthy food. However, they are not appropriate when doing the Two-week test.
I agree – v confusing to have a photo of a dish with peas in it when I just clocked them as a NO. Unfortunately many inconsistencies on this site which make it confusing. Is sweetcorn allowed? Easy to substitute canned no-added-sugar, or fresh, sweetcorn for the peas if so.
Is that meant to be curry powder, or more like a thai curry paste?
Hi Laurie –
it’s powder, but a curry paste could be a reasonable substitute
I don’t think anyone looks at this website and comments anymore. I hear crickets chirping.
I promise, we’re still here 🙂
I agree. The foods list and the recipes are not consistent. Coconut cream is ok?! Coconut cream is a specific product that contains a lot of added sugar.
Hello Marion,
You can easily find coconut cream with no added sugar. For example, this product on Amazon:

Hello, peas are on the list of NO foods. But this recipe contains peas (2 cups of them) and is labeled as “Two Week Test”…
